My Counseling Approach:

My counseling approach comes from a base of cognitive-behavioral and humanistic psychotherapies, while integrating aspects such as mindfulness and purposeful attention into my clinical work. Please visit the Psychology Today Website to explore these topics more fully.

My training and educational background, combined with my personal philosophy, leads me away from diagnosing (or labeling) clients and focuses instead on creating a therapeutic alliance between counselor (me) and client (you) that will empower you towards change, healing, and wellness.

Beyond my therapeutic or technical approach though, I truly enjoy counseling. I look at each client as a unique and fascinating individual. Together we will work through laughter, tears, frustration, and delight. I look forward to sharing this amazing process with you.
